The Bolide is a compact electric cargo bike. With two seats that can be adjusted using the SWAP© system, it adapts to your needs and is the perfect bike for everyday urban travel. Its large tires and size make it extremely stable and easy to ride.

Bolide v2: improvements
New engine
This new version of the Bafang motor has been upgraded from 36V to 43V and is:
New battery
This new Bafang 43V – 600Wh battery has 20% more capacity (+100Wh) than our old Phylion battery.
The switch to 43v allows the motor to be more efficient, which also increases the bike's range.
New charger
Our new Bafang charger is 50% faster (3A) than its predecessor.
The battery now fully recharges in 4.5 hours, compared to 7 hours previously.

Frame
The steel frame (a "flexible" metal) absorbs vibrations, unlike other "rigid" metals (such as aluminum), which transfer them to the cyclist.
Tires
Fat bike tires and their low pressure reduce jolts caused by potholes and other road imperfections.
Geometry
The geometry has been designed to give you a "natural" 90° riding position, which reduces back pain.
Saddle
The saddle is made in France and consists of two types of foam: a "low density" foam for soft comfort and a "high density" foam for overall cushioning that prevents the seat from sagging.

The Bolide's design dramatically increases the bike's stability
and provides a sense of security at every stage of your journey:
Lower down, it is easier to load, whether with children, groceries, or packages.
Stabilized by its center stand, there is no longer any risk of dropping the bike and its load.
Being able to put your foot down without getting off your bike significantly reduces the risk of losing your balance during the many stops you make on an urban journey.
Better weight distribution helps limit loss of balance caused by shifts in mass, for example when cornering or when passengers move around in their seats 🙂
The height allows you to put your feet on the ground and catch yourself if you lose your footing.

According to Article R431-5 of the Highway Code, passengers may be carried on a seat attached to the bicycle, provided that this seat is separate from the driver's seat (including two-seater saddles). It is therefore permitted for two people to ride on a bicycle, provided that it is suitable for this purpose.
